Finance Analyst

RECfinancial is working in an exclusive partnership with a Leicestershire based FMCG business in their search to appoint a new Finance Analyst. The role is based at the firm’s prestigious head office which is commutable distance from all areas of Leicester / Leicestershire, Nottingham, Derby, North Northamptonshire and Coventry / Warwickshire.
 
Reporting to one of the Finance Managers, this Finance Analyst role is a 50 / 50 mix of monthly accounting and business partnering. The role is everything that you would expect of monthly management accounts including budgeting / forecasting, assisting with the board pack, kpi reporting and commentary.
 
The role has lots of exposure to working with the wider business with both proactive and reactive financial analysis requests, walking non-finance budget holders through their p&l’s and also working on projects / new business initiatives.
 
Culturally the business is a lively and fun company to work for. They have a dress for your day policy and the hybrid expectations post probation are 2 days in the office and 3 from home.
 
The business will accept applications from candidates who are at a minimum of part qualified in either CIMA or ACCA and in a role that does include exposure to the management accounts.
 
It’s likely that you will be in an Assistant Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant or Finance Analyst / Financial Analyst type role. Due to the analysis part of the role, being a competent user of Excel is essential.
 
The role has a salary range of between £40,000 and £45,000 plus benefits and full study support if required.
