RECfinancial is partnering with a Leicestershire based SME manufacturing business in their search to appoint a Financial Controller.
The role is based at the firm’s head office which is commutable distance from all areas of Leicester / Leicestershire, South Nottingham, Rugby, Corby and Coventry / Warwickshire.
Reporting to a part time Finance Director and the Managing Director, The Financial Controller will have the responsibility of the day to day running of the finance team and supporting the leadership team in the day to day running of the business.
Responsibilities will include the production of monthly and annual accounting, vat returns, leading the budget / forecasting process, cashflow forecasting, leading and coaching a team of 5, supporting the business with any analysis requests that they may have to improve decision making.
The business is keen to hire a candidate who is likely to be in a Finance Manager or Financial Controller type role and who aspires to be a Finance Director in the future. You will be looking for a role that includes managing a team, supporting an MD, being seen in the business and has the opportunity to add value to the business.
The business has zero debt and is cash positive. They have a structured growth plan in place to increase turn over by 20% over the next few years.
To be considered for this role you will need to be qualified in either the ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualification.
The role offers a salary of between £55,000 and £65,000 plus benefits
