Sales Purchasing Administrator

RECfinancial are recruiting exclusively for a North Leicestershire based family owned business, who are keen to recruit a Sales Purchasing Administrator on a Full Time, permanent basis. Working Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week, office based. 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful independent manufacturer with a strong customer focus and an ambitious development plan to keep up with market demand. Working alongside a supportive and encouraging Department Team Leader, the successful applicant will have the chance to develop their skills, gain valuable experience, and build confidence within a thriving market sector.

This role is commutable from Loughborough, Leicester, Nottingham and Leicestershire

 

Main role of Sales Purchasing Administrator

 

We are currently recruiting for a Sales & Purchasing Administrator, a varied and rewarding role that offers exposure across administration, sales support, and supplier management.

This position will involve a wide range of tasks, including filing, data entry, and processing a high volume of detailed information each week. A key part of the role will be reviewing contracts and processing sales orders with accuracy and efficiency, so excellent attention to detail is essential.

You will also be responsible for coordinating daily deliveries and liaising directly with both customers and suppliers, ensuring smooth communication and excellent service at all times.

Responsibilities of the Sales Purchasing Administrator

 

  • General Administrative tasks including, buying materials, processing supplier and customer invoices.
  • Data entry and an ability to generate sales invoices.
  • Ensuring all tasks are completed accurately, ensuring the business correctly invoices both customers and suppliers.
  • Reviewing supplier invoices and purchase prices, as per the business system.
  • Liaise with both customers and suppliers over email and telephone correspondence.
  • Initiating query resolution of supplier invoices 
  • Booking Deliveries’ for customers ensuing all details are logged and tracked on the internal system. 
  • Matching delivery tickets to all weekly deliveries.
  • Administer the supplier ‘Prepayment’ process, to every account.
  • Plus, any other ad-hoc Administrational tasks required.

 

Skills and experience:

 

  • Willingness to learn and develop within the role
  • Excellent Communication skills, written and verbal correspondence
  • Self–disciplined, with good time management skills and the ability to manage and prioritise various tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel, MS Office Suite MS 365
